Croatia Tour

What to visit in Croatia from Istria to Dalmatia? Croatia presents magnificent tourist destinations for your next trip. From Pula to Krk, each city offers the most beautiful beaches, cultural interests, and typical cuisine. I recommend five cities to visit in Croatia and five beaches not to see. 5 cities in Croatia to see. 1. Pola Situated in Istrian Croatia, it's a place of great cultural historical interest. The most famous destinations are the Roman amphitheater, the Temple of Augustus and the arch of the seats. I recommend visiting this city at the beginning of the trip or, alternatively, as the last stop before returning to Italy. 2. Medulin: In July of 2015, I spent three nights at this location. But this is my brother-in-law's favorite place to start the summer season. This way I receive updates every year. I have to admit: the beach of Medulin I don't like much! On Medulin Beach, there are attractions in the water for children; t he possibility to rent sun loungers

Zadar. Croatia.

Visit to Zadar Croatia. To reach Zadar we have traveled through Trieste, the valleys of Slovenia and the entire coast of Croatia. Time it took: 6 and a half hours (with lunch and coffee break). On average from Trieste to Zara you travel entirely on the highway, and without stopping for lunch, it takes about 4 and a half hours (traffic permitting). I remind you that to pass through the stretch of Slovenian motorway, you have to have a vignette. Zadar  worth visiting. Zadar is definitely one of the most famous Croatian cities for its historical heritage. The city is surrounded by old medieval walls, which reflect Venetian architecture. There are several doors from which you can access and on which are present the typical Venetian lions. Inside, however, there are more ancient artifacts dating back to the Roman period. 1. The marine organ. Let's start with the most special thing you can see, or better hear: the Marine Organ. The organ located near the ol

Excursion Sakarun beach

If you've ever wandered around Croatian beaches or tourist destinations, you've come across hiking vendors. They are the ones near a pier with coffee tables and billboards covered with photos of beaches and boats. The excursions are carried out on medium or small ships, with organized trips including lunch. Ours was organized on a boat named Tnv. It was a little bigger than a boat on two floors, with kitchen and bathrooms downstairs. The journey departed from Petrčane at 8.20 in the morning. The price, of 50 € per person, was paid the day before departure, on the beach directly to the seller. The package includes breakfast, welcome aperitif and lunch, unlimited drinks and juices. For lunch the choice is between fish or meat menus (prices in July 2019) , boat crossing near the coast and 3-hour stop at Sakarun . We left at 9 am between the islands of the Zadar archipelago; passing near the shores of Dughi Otok . We saw: the island of Tri sestice,

Dalmatia Tour

T he Croatian tour continues. This year we went as far as Northern Dalmatia. The holiday lasted 5 nights, as always overnight in the apartment booked through Booking and trips with rental car booked with Rental Car. The tour, as always, started from the province of Gorizia passing through Trieste, visiting the valleys of Slovenia. The first stop for a coffee, of course, was Rijeka (also called River). We continued to the island of Vir or Mali Losinj, to spend a day in Nim, the oldest city in Croatia, and Sale. We visited on two different evenings the bustling Zara or Zadar. We went out by boat, with an organized trip, to visit the beautiful islands of the Zadar archipelago until we reached the tropical paradise of Sakaran beach. Ps. I practically got more sun in the boat than in the rest of the holiday. And finally, we visited the lakes of Plitvicka. To finish internal Croatia we still miss all the central area of Dalmatia from Split until you reach Dubrovn

Croazia. Lussinpiccolo.

Croazia Lussinpiccolo.  Link English⏭ Come specificato nel post croazia-tour , sono rientrata da una vacanza di 5 notti a Lussinpiccolo. Lussinpiccolo è un'isola della Croazia che potete raggiungere in diversi modi: pullman + traghetto, auto + traghetto, aliscafo oppure aereo.     Informazioni  sui  mezzi.     Auto:   Se decidete di partire in auto, vi consiglio di scegliere giorni infrasettimanali sia per l'andata che per il ritorno. Generalmente parto di mercoledì/ giovedì e rientro di martedì/ mercoledì perché durante il weekend si formano molte più code alla dogana. Strada da percorrere: Impostando il navigatore o Google Maps, avrete diversi percorsi possibili. Per quanto mi riguarda partendo da Gorizia, ho scelto di percorrere la Slovenia.   Questo percorso vi permette di ammirare distese di campi con balle di fieno e alberi secolari.   Percorrendo la tratta Statale (e non autostradale) della Slovenia, non vi servirà la "vignetta";
